Life Coach for Writers, Marla Beck, MFA, CTACC, is a poet, songwriter and certified professional life coach who has helped hundreds of accomplished writers to accomplish big writing goals and create happier, more balanced lives.

Marla's coaching expertise is informed by her 20-year meditation practice and long-time engagement in a variety of self-development modalities, including Jungian psychoanalysis and yoga. As an 18-year survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma, Marla strives to "seize the day" on a daily basis in her own life.

Marla's experience as a successful business writer (grant writing, proposal writing/editing, PR), small business owner, recording artist/songwriter and graduate-trained poet enables her to understand the challenges writers face at and away from the writing desk.

An active member of the International Coach Federation and North Bay Coaches, Marla lives with her husband and young daughter in the North San Francisco Bay area.
